What's coming to Tessellate next.

Now

  • The website, with a demo of the app you can click around in your browser.
  • The first release: a signed installer, and updates that install themselves when you say so.
  • Real couch nights with real controllers, to check everything that's only been tried on one PC so far.

Next

  • More games played and checked, starting with community favourites like Stardew Valley, Brotato and Factorio.
  • Separate saves for more games, by giving each player their own Documents and Saved Games folders.
  • "Verified" badges for games that have had a clean session, and a button to test one yourself.
  • Couch mode from Steam Big Picture, with the shortcut added for you.

Later

  • Teach mode: play a game once and Tessellate drafts the setup for it.
  • A phone companion to pick the game and lineup, start, stop and see the recap from the sofa.
  • Window layouts: swap two players' screens, picture-in-picture, or draw your own layout.
  • A performance overlay for each player's corner of the screen.
  • Mod packs per profile for tModLoader, easy to copy to a friend.
  • Linux and Steam Deck, someday.
